My teen daughter has extreme anxiety and went through a few dark years where she really struggled. Her confidence and self esteem were at an all time low and a big part of that was related to her teeth and smile. As she began to work on herself, she wanted to fix her teeth but felt helpless. I found this dental group online when looking for a non-judgmental, empathic practice that understands the needs of patients that struggle with mental health issues. Beginning-to-end EXPECTIONAL experience with DPD Smiles in Wheaton! My 5 year old had a great time...if you can believe it! Dr Chan (anesthesia) was particularly awesome and we all loved her from the moment we met! Nurse Emily handled our pre-op call and in-person as a true pro: informative, patient, kind, and made sure I had every question answered. You can put those "mama nerves" away for this! Don't worry about a thing. It was the easiest doctor's appointment we've ever had! Thank you! Fun atmosphere, clear explanations, ... read more

Dr Joshi is amazing. My daughter had to have surgery. We had issues with insurance and surgery was cancelled last minute. She went out of her way to squeeze us in and not make us wait another Month. She is exceptional. You will not find a better office that truly cares about their patients. From the front desk to this amazing Dr!

I had a great experience at DPD Smiles. As someone who is very afraid of the dentist, I truly appreciated Dr. Joshi’s approach. In the past, I’ve had dental work redone unnecessarily, but she respected my preference for conservative treatment and only recommended fillings for teeth that genuinely needed it. She also took the time to educate me, explaining that not all early-stage cavities require immediate filling and that good oral hygiene can sometimes help reverse them. One of my favorite parts of the visit was the use of... read more
